I was most recently the Associate Creative Director at McCann Melbourne.
I've created original, memorable and influential work for local and global brands, published in The Huffington Post, The Guardian, AdWeek and Contagious Magazine.
Previously I was a Senior Art Director at Cummins & Partners Melbourne, helping it grow from 30 to over 140 people on the back of over 30 new business wins, regularly on the pointy end of the creative pitch fork. These pitch wins also helped open the Sydney, Toronto and New York office.
A buoyant spirit in pitches (the result of both my dedication and high MSG levels) has seen wins for Nike, Jeep, John West and Specsavers, to name a few. My contribution has led the agency towards back-to-back AdNews, Mumbrella and B&T Australian Agency of the Year titles. I've also had a hand in producing some of the most effective work in the region, acknowledged four times at the Effies.
With work recognised at major award shows including the inaugural Clio Grand Prix (Direct) for sports advertising, D&AD, Cannes Lions, New York Festivals, OneShow, London International Awards, Young Guns, Effies, Spikes, AWARD, Webbies, MADC and 16 nods at Commercial Radio Australia’s Siren Awards, among others.
I've also tutored the country’s preeminent creative advertising course, AWARD School, three years running, most recently boasting the winner and five students in the top ten. As well lecturing in ADMA Creative School.
While I take pride in these achievements, it's business results I'm most proud of. Like reversing the flailing fortunes of Australia’s former suburban bourbon, convincing more kids to pick up a tennis racquet than a Gameboy (do they still use those?) and helping an A4 office paper brand trend on Twitter.
Pitches won: Jeep, Specsavers, Reflex Paper, Simplot (John West, Chiko Roll), Chobani, Tennis Australia, Nike, Care Australia, Home Timber & Hardware, Masters, Dairy Australia, Repco, Spring Racing Carnival and Kraft/Heinz.
